MBCU-347 Info

So, i made a poll, and I think perhaps I should have done this first, explain things a little.

MBCU-347 is a ecchi Sci-fi Action comedy harem manga.

MBCU stands for Mobile Barrack Command Unit, and is basically a vehicle that acts as both Barracks, transportation and mobile command base for the Unit within it.

347 is the number it has, and in this case contains a Unit of females. Due to various reasons they have been assigned to this barracks as it is considered a dump squad, mainly by unti leaders who believe they are either a distraction, or bad for their teams unity, or how there overall performance.

The story itself centers around Hyosuke Kaza, a freshly promoted captain, who due to his own circumstances (won't give it  away) has been assigned to 347, at first they are reluctant to accept him as unfortunately commanding officers either hate the post and leave, or are relieved of command for inappropriate behavior. (A scenario which has had the base jokingly nickname them, the sexy squad, due to their appearence, as that most of the male population think an all girl barrack to be a 'heaven' scenario. Even if most units are  unisex, the barracks are still gender segregated.
None more synacle than Kazuko Nobunaha, who's own dreams of becoming a great officer have staggered due to her assignment. Though she has come to have a bond with the girls, that also keeps er here, not wanting to abandon them for a transfer.


now, concerning the poll i made, the general story takes three routes.

1) 14-21 -This is an academy unit that alongside taking lessons, also take on missions as field lessons. (This was inspired by the genin teams of Naruto, in which they learn as well as take on missions) But, unlike them, they must also take classes in various lessons, and pass exams to increase their cadet rank. This can be at anytime they choose, and continues. (this gives leave for plots similar to the chuunin exams, where squads do tournaments, etc.) this also opens up a wider variety of ages.

2) 18-21 - could be a mix of both 1 and 3, But, it might just be like 3, so this is just a note. In this I might have it where the youngest member(s) are either in their final year of the academy and transferred in to team just prior to Hyosuke's arrival. and must complete their final year in field missions before graduating. no large exams like in 1, since it would be individually based.

3) 21-30 - the unit is already full of  graduated soldiers, just dumped to one squad. Stories are still primarily about them proving themselves, (like in 1 &2) but they are all adults to young adults.


those are the differences made by the ages, but the general ideas I already have (and I have at least two volumes worth of plot I can use so far and more depending on what happens as well as the ages). It will contain lots of action, comedy moments, ecchi fanservice and I hope some good stories. Along with Aliens, spaceships, and maybe mechs (not decided on mechs yet).

Once I get the character designs finished, I will be posting them so you can see, I'm going to be making proper bio's for them (non-spoilery about their histories I'm afraid, only what I'll be revealing in the first instances)
